Martin Bradley O'Connor Scholarship

In loving memory..

In October 2022, our friend and colleague, Martin O'Conner, was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease).  After a valiant battle, he passed away in February 2024. Recognizing his profound impact and unwavering commitment to education and excellence, ASE Private Wealth™, in collaboration with the Clemson University MBA program, has established a scholarship in his honor. The Martin Bradley O’Connor Scholarship Award seeks to commemorate Martin's visionary leadership and dedication to education by support aspiring students pursuing careers in business and finance.

Martin's passionate commitment to fostering positive change in business, family, community, and faith will serve as an enduring source of inspiration for upcoming generations of students who exemplify these fundamental values as they aspire to become leaders and role models. Guided by the principles of diligence, honesty, integrity, and responsiveness to needs, the scholarship's yearly requirements are tailored to mirror these traits.

2024 recipient- Luke LeGros

Luke LeGros, a local resident of Greenville, South Carolina, is presently immersed in the Clemson MBA program. After graduating from Clemson University in 2020, Luke embarked on the journey of pursuing an MBA to enrich his proficiency in financial management. Apart from his academic pursuits, Luke also serves as a reservist in the United States Marine Corps, actively contributing to the Combat Logistics Unit. His commitment to both his military duties and academic endeavors exemplifies his dedication and discipline.

Luke had the chance to meet Martin in January 2024 and is currently interning with our ASE Private Wealth™ team. Through this experience, he is honing his skills in the intricate processes, showcasing a sincere commitment to delivering outstanding service to our clients.
