Mark Dorsett

Mark Dorsett joined ASE Private Wealth® as Managing Director of Advanced Insurance Solutions, bringing decades of experience helping business owners, families, and individuals protect the people, organizations, and causes that matter most to them.

In this role, Mark works closely with ASE’s advisory team to ensure insurance planning is fully integrated into each client’s broader financial, business, and estate strategy. His work includes identifying and addressing risks that could erode enterprise value, particularly in the years leading up to significant liquidity events, while helping clients create clarity and confidence around wealth transfer, business continuity, and long-term legacy planning.

Mark approaches his work as an advocate for every client—collaborating across the ASE team to deliver coordinated, intentional solutions aligned with each client’s goals and values. His role is critical in helping ensure that what clients have built is not only protected, but positioned to endure through transition and beyond.

A graduate of Furman University, Mark is excited to return to Greenville and be part of the ASE team. He is an avid musician and, together with his wife Heidi, is the proud parent of two adult sons. Mark holds both securities licenses (Series 7 and 66) and is licensed in life and health insurance.
